Placidly Panting

Biblical Verse:
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

1 John 3:18

Before you start ranting about how I haven't written a blog in over a month, allow me to stop you, to intercept you if you will, and let me try to reason with you. First off, I haven't written a blog in over a month, I won't deny that fact. The reason why is that I just haven't felt like writing. Simple as that. Now, as dumb as a reason that is, allow me to show you why it's a valid excuse. Imagine you're working at a part time hourly job that you like because you make money, but you hate because it's just a job you don't like to do. Actually, let's pretend you wash dishes at Golden Corral. You HAVE to go into work wash a certain, and vast amount of plates weekly. You procrastinate the washing of the plates until the very last day. At the end of that day you're just in a bad mood. Because the only people that appreciate it were the other dish-washer-ers. You wanted the people that eat off the plate to at least acknowledge that it was done for them, but their completely oblivious. They forget the fact that their dirty dishes need someone to clean them.
KEY:
Golden Corral - My blog
Dirty Dishes - Ideas for blog
Other Dishwasher-ers - The few people who actually read my blog
Customers - The people who you would like to read your blogs

Visualize in your head, a whistle. A wooden whistle with intricate spirals that overlap and sway around the shaft. That whistle came from a piece of wood. The piece of wood came from a tree. But where did the tree come from. Of course they come from the planet, but where are they residing. Trees are sometimes hard to find around some areas of your world. That's why you have to find areas that have fertile land, and nourishing streams and rivers that mend to an abundance of trees and vegetations. We must go to these good lands. More trees equal more wood. More wood means more opportunities that could evolve from the simple idea of a whistle, into a marvelous wonder like a shelter that is worthy of protecting your most valued treasure.

Let's try to lighten the mood a little bit! "How the heck are you going to lighten the mood through a blog Juan?" Well it's quite simple really. All you need to do is add a few bit of "lol"s and a couple of ":)" and TA-DAA! you got yourself a mood lightener. Lol. So if you ever come across an awkward moment, just remember to LOL and :) at the crowd. :)

I thought that the 3rd and last section of my blog was a tad bit too short and bitter, so I made a 4th section! I'm going to simplify this last section, make it more straight forward. It's actually a question, and I want ALL of you who just finished reading this sentence. Write an answer. Please. :) It would make my day. And yes, I did make that sentence a fragment to end it quicker. Question is: Is protecting your public image, or reputation, being a hypocrite to yourself if you're really not the person the public sees?

Just Go Ahead and write your answer, or your
response to my blog below. You don't need an
                                                 account. Just start typing. :)

                                                 Much Love

  2. ^sorry, but wrong. It's not, and at the same time, is being a hypocrite. You're not lying to yourself, cause you know who you are. So you aren't denying it. But imo, it depends on who you're protecting it infront of. I think it's more of...having "respect" for your name, not being a hypocrite. Thassss whuat i tank! :3

  5. Didn't you just give the definition of hypocricy?....

    In case:

    What is a Hypocrite:

protecting your public image, or reputation, of yourself when you're really not the person the public sees.

oh i knew you would try to trick us little juanito....

  6. This one is a toughy, but after consideration and reading the input of the other comments, i think it's more of an act than hipocracy. If the way you portray yourself is different from how YOU are, it's no different than pretending, although, there is a fine line.

  7. I don't think it's possible to be a hypocrite to yourself. Just my opinion. I think hypocrisy is strictly with regard to OTHERS and how others perceive you. Again, that's just my opinion and my thoughts on "hypocrisy".

That said, I think it's important to protect you public image and reputation. Especially as Christians. People watch us and watch what we do. And I don't think it's "hypocrisy" to act a certain way in front of some people and different in front of other people. Because some people just know you differently, and you aren't as likely to taint their image of you. Others who don't know you are easily swayed by the slightest incident or word.

By the way, I reeeeeally dislike the word "hypocrite" and "hypocrisy". I think it's way overused by anti-Christians who try to find any way to bring down Christians. But that's just me. Lol
